chapter 10&11

according to chapter 10 studying in a foreign country or having an international students in class is very beneficial for the students. learning about other cultures in school and learn to respect them is the best. also, attending a school in a foreign country and learn about the new technologies that they have is good. to learn them and to use them when you go back to your country. thats how country get developed in my opinion. by sending their students ti other countries to learn about the new technologies and strategies. moreover, chapter 11 is supporting chapter 10 by learning the new assessments in every class. I strongly agree with these chapters and I feel that is me. moving to a new country to lean in the best schools and with the best professor to learn the best technologies, strategies and techniques then practice what i have learned in the same country to make sure that I’m on the right track. and then going back to my home country to teach the new generations what the developed countries using and how they are learning. this is a great experience for me to learn in NYC the most diversity city with different cultures.

chapter 6 and 7

teachers have many methods to deliver the materials. they can deliver it using old technology or using new technology . and by using the new technology, they have many ways to deliver it. even though digital content is more interesting specially for younger kids, teachers should pick the right application to present it.

     as we see in both pictures, students more active with using smart board in the second picture. moreover, teachers can let the technology to teach the students. so most of the work in class would be by technology and students.

students will use their computers to learn. teachers have to just observe.  

lesson learned 11/11

     in todays class I learned how technology is really important not only for normal or healthy people, but also for people with disabilities. i learned how technology is helping them to improve their educational  life. i have also learned that every person is disabled in one area, so technology is helpful for all of us!

lesson learned

today's class was about the webquest we define it as a map, guide, interactive, or internet based. we also defined quest as search, exploration , or research. and the most important part that we talked about the six objectives of web quest which were very beneficial to talk about. it made us familiar with it. moreover, showing us examples made us even more familiar. I'm going to try to made my planning sheet tonight, I'm very interesting!

chapter 5&6

i think that chapter 5 has very interesting topics, i found it very useful. talking about internet searching and how teachers could teach their students to use the internet correctly to search made me really think about it. the students could wright a whole paper by searching on the internet and could be all wrong. e.g by using non-credible websites that have information never been approved. or by copying the whole information from credible or non-crdedible websites. teaching the students how to search from the internet and practice that with them in school in very important. students will avoiding plagiarism if they know how to research and write what the have found and wright the resource if they copy a quotation that they may like or anything. however,  chapter six talked about analyzing which is very important to be taught to the students. moreover, schools should give the students hybrid class to learn how to study online when they go to the college level. e.g. i never took any online course in the school either the college during my bachelors studies. now a days I'm so afraid to take them even when i need them i never learned how to attend a class online, or how to use this much of technology each class. i wish that the school made us to take any online course just to try it and get used to it.

what i have learned from today's class was how important is the digital world. and big and complex it is. i also learned about the most important websites to learn from in our educational journey, also in our teaching journey. i have also learned that every one can be found in the internet, no one can ever hide, so we should be careful about what we post. we also, should teach that to our students to not be in trouble ever. moreover, learning about WIKIPEDIA was interesting. how can and can't we edit on the articles that are posted there. 

lesson's learned

October 7th

today's lecture was very beneficial, talking about several topics teaches us a lot. first Behaviorism, which was very interesting. also talking about cognitive information and  the mental organization which we tried it ourselves in class to prove it. more over the learning processes that you explained was so exciting. finally and the most important part for me was talking about America and New York in specific, and how they need teachers!
this class is so exciting for me.

what i have learned from the storyboard was great. after watching the video in class last week, I tried to make mine semelare to that video. looking for pictures and music and put them togither in a video to make the lesson easier for the students to understand was ammaizing. connecting the new technology with teaching is a smart strategy in my openion.

sep 23rd

     today's lecture is very interesting as usual. we talked about the story board a lot which made me even comfortable to start making it. showing us an examples for the story board was very helpful for me.
     also, we've leaned how to google images search in high quality, and how to download videos.
     thank you for the amazing lecture and see you in two weeks.
 

chapter 2

chapter 2 is talking about connecting the technology with the teaching. as we know, most of the teachers these days know how to use technology and also know how to teach, but using technology in teaching is the most difficult part. the chapter describes the use of computers in and out of school, and how both students and teachers could benefit from using the web.
     it also discussed that the longer classes that the teacher has, the more opportunity to use technology. which is good to engage the students to the lessons.
    Moreover, the students these days love the technology, so now the teachers are trying to connect technology with teaching to provide better lessons. this chapter is giving us different patters of technology to be used by teachers.

questions:
1\would the teacher like to have longer classes to be able to use technology?
2\would the teachers like to have the students working in groups instead of individually?
3\can the students do most of the work in class by doing some researches before class?

  I have never loved technology. I’ve always bought the smartest devices, but never used their smart features. I never been the expert in technology, so I’ve always took my laptop,iphone,ipod and ipad to the support center to fix them when I got a problem.
     Two years ago, when I was at home, I taught for a couple of months as an AT. What I have noticed at this time that the teacher never used technology with her students. At the first, the students didn’t like me teaching them because they used to their own teacher and they loved her. After a while, they asked me to be their own teacher for the whole year. It was because I used technology in the class as a strategy to make teaching more interesting. They liked the idea of connecting learning with something they already interested in.
My personal learning goals for this cause are:
1\ make learning more interesting for the students, so they will enjoy the class.
2\improve myself in using the technology because all of the new generation are using the technology in an obsessive way.
3\ to teach the students how to use the technology in a good way.
4\ most of the schools are giving online lectures, we as a children’s teachers need to teach the students how to benefit from the internet and the technology, so they won’t lose their grades when they go to the collage level.
